It is interesting to note that Christ wore visible signs of his crucifixion when he showed them to Thomas. The marks of his death were the testimony of his resurrection.

It is this powerful testimony that Kintsugi speaks to us: fault lines become lines of force and far from hiding the signs of brokenness, they are highlighted with gold, because they are a strong vision of catering, healing and resurrection power.

I can personally testify of this resurrection force, now being out of the wheelchair I had been in for 8 years.

Having such a work on your walls is a daily reminder of this life force and this ultimate sacrifice which gives us Life.

Material:

Ilford Cotton Textured is a heavy (310 g/m ²) paper with a slight warm tone and strong speckled texture. Due to the texture of the paper allowing it to retain more ink and capture light, it can achieve bright colors and deep black with rich contrast. Due to its higher weight (310 g/m ²) and strong texture, it gives the artwork a more handcrafted appearance.
