What do you have to celebrate!
Last week, I celebrated!
Youhou! 🥂
✨ I celebrated a breaking In my life: I just divorced.
I do not celebrate so much divorce in itself, the failure of a marriage or the suffering experienced, but I celebrate the old page that turns and the new season which opens up to me and which I am delighted to explore And to discover.
I celebrate my resilience path Who brought me from a very disabling state of illness, without being able to walk, read, write, three years ago when I left my ex-husband, to a full life (sometimes too much!), Full Laughter, happiness, moments of growth, questions and doubts too.
The path of resilience and healing is not a growing, straight line. It’s a line made of curves, many emotions to cross.
There is one thing that I learned years of illness that I have passed: the importance of celebrating.
✨ Celebrating life, celebrating the small steps, celebrating little moments of happiness, just celebrating the fact of being alive, celebrating that I could have come out a little.
✨ Celebrate to have been able to walk a few meters more than the day before
✨ Celebrate a pleasant moment spent with a friend
✨ Celebrate to have been able to make a painting
✨ Celebrate having managed to learn a new piece of piano while my brain was out of service.
Once we start to see all these moments of celebration, we harvest them and we make them bouquets for which we are grateful. And we realize that in the end, there are a lot of positive things, even small.
And when more difficult days arrive, days when it is more complicated to celebrate, we can then to remember These flow flowers of this bouquet that we constituted and warmed the heart with that.
Did you know that to see things positive, Remembering good times was a very powerful way to help your brain and your body stay in a better condition?
I will talk about Surely once.
✨ How to celebrate?
Monday, I celebrated with bubbles, friends, an aperitif meal at home, flowers and candles (yes, I really like it!)
Already the celebration begins with the welcome of emotion, recognition, to feel the moment and to be voluntarily aware of it.
We can celebrate a thousand ways, but here some ideas :
✨ A little walk in an inspiring place
✨ Light a candle, relax and enjoy the moment
✨ Offer flowers (yes why wait for someone else to do it)?)?
✨ Make a good foaming bath or a pleasant prolonged shower (the foaming bath, one of my favorites!)
✨ Take a small glass of wine or your favorite drink and savor as much as the present moment
✨ Share this celebration with someone who will be able to welcome your emotion with kindness
✨ Doing yourself all beautiful just like that because it makes you happy
✨ Offer you a moment of relaxation in the way you like it
Whether by a small or a big celebration, whether it lasts a long or only a few minutes, it doesn't matter, it puts you in a posture of joy, recognition and cultivating this, will open more opportunities to celebrate.
✨ Do you think of celebrating the little and great things of your life? What are your favorite ways to celebrate?
